My race handbooks are written with an emphasis on the race and the class options which are viable for a player who has decided to play that race and may still be looking for a class which works for that race. The homebrew races will not only provide textual data in their own listing and details pages, but will also allow users to select races and have their effects applied in the character builder The main homebrew page has been updated with a slot for races: Currently, you can filter by name, the size of the race/subrace, the type of ability score. My issue is that when I attempt to edit the homebrewed race, there seems to be no option to add this. Thank you for your response, unfortunately I was asking how to actually implement the option of custom origins for homebrewed races. ![]() As with all AC calculations, they dont stack with other calculations and D&D Beyond always shows the AC calculation that yields the best AC on your character sheet (cf. I thought it might just be a general bug but I tested to see if another homebrew race would show in the race options and it showed up immediately after adding. Note that the assessments of a class for a race may not match the assessments of a race for a class. The following armor calculations function correctly (to my knowledge) as they are currently in use on published races. I have homebrew enabled for her, I have taken the race out of my collection and added it back multiple times, and Ive even waited a few days to see if it will show up. ![]()
